Waterproofing done right, before any tile is set
Every wet area we build gets a full waterproofing membrane over the substrate — not just the last-line-of-defense of a mortar bed. Shower pans are pre-sloped and tested. Curbs are wrapped. Niches are lined before they're tiled. It adds a day to the schedule and it eliminates the failure mode that puts most retail bathroom remodels back on the job list within five years.
Layouts that match how the room gets used
A primary bath and a guest bath aren't the same problem. Primary baths often need double vanities, a real shower separate from the tub, and storage that hides the reality of two adults sharing a room. Guest baths and hall baths need to shrug off kids, wet towels, and last-minute company. Powder rooms are showpieces. We spec each accordingly.
Fixtures, tile, and finish work
We install proven-brand plumbing fixtures and set tile with the layout drawn out in advance — so the field cuts land at the corners and the pattern lines break through niches and outlets cleanly. Vanities are shimmed level and secured to blocking, not just to drywall. Trim gets caulked, not filled with wood putty.
